Between October 2008 and March 2009 an evaluation of Somerset's carnival, festival and event's was conducted by ArtReach Consultants Ltd. The project, funded by Somerset County Council Arts service and Somerset Rural Renaissance, set out to determine the levels of activity in the county, and find the main strengths and weaknesses of the sector. The following is the resulting report which outlines key areas of activity, and makes recommendations for ways these initiatives could be supported.
